There's a question many people ask themselves in silence: "What if this life I'm living isn't really the one I want?"

Some feel it right after finishing university. Others after five years in a job they never hated quite enough to leave, but never loved quite enough to stay in either. Others after a breakup. After losing someone. After realizing they've spent years living on autopilot.

Social media shows us the result: the apartment with ocean views, the laptop on the beach, the entrepreneur who "left it all behind." The perfect photo. But it rarely shows the loneliness, the goodbyes, the guilt, the uncertainty, the mistakes, the fear, the days you want to turn back.

And that's where Two Bags Later was born.

What is TBL?

Two Bags Later is a podcast about people who decided to change something important in their lives. It's not a travel podcast. The journey is simply the backdrop.

Each episode explores what happens when someone makes a decision that alters the course of their life. Sometimes it's moving abroad. Sometimes starting a business. Sometimes leaving a stable career. Sometimes coming home. Sometimes failing. Sometimes rebuilding.

What TBL is NOT

A highlight-reel podcast. We don't aim to show perfect lives.
An empty motivational podcast. We don't want inspirational quotes without context.
An instruction manual. We don't give universal answers.
A podcast about destinations. Where you are matters less than how you got there.
A constant celebration of change. Change comes with costs. They're worth exploring too.

The mission

To help people who are questioning their path by showing honest stories from those who have already been through that process. We don't claim to tell anyone what they should do. We aim to offer something more useful:

Perspective.

Because obstacles are easier to get through when you know someone before you went through them too.

Our values

Honesty
We don't romanticize. We don't exaggerate. We don't hide the uncomfortable parts.
Vulnerability
We want people willing to say: "I had no idea what I was doing."
Curiosity
We don't interview to confirm ideas. We interview to understand.
Empathy
Listening without judging. Understanding before opining.
Complexity
A decision can be the best one of your life and, at the same time, hurt enormously. Both things can be true.
Courage
Not the courage to leave or stay — but the courage to be honest about what you actually feel.

The manifesto

We don't believe there's a single right way to live.

We don't believe staying is failing.

We don't believe leaving is bravery.

We don't believe travel cures every problem.

We don't believe freedom is free.

We believe every person deserves to build a life aligned with who they truly are.

We believe honest stories can change lives.

And we believe that hearing someone say "I was scared too" can be enough for someone else to find the courage to take the next step.
