We don't believe there's a single right way to live.
We don't believe staying is failing. We don't believe leaving is bravery.
We believe honest stories can change lives.
I'm Álvaro. Seven years ago I left Spain to move to Australia. I built a life there, but those seven years were full of obstacles nobody warns you about before you leave: how to keep a real relationship with your family and friends when there are thousands of kilometers in between and everyone's life keeps moving forward without you in the room. I made mistakes, learned the hard way, and not long ago I left it all behind again — this time to start from zero in Bali. Two Bags Later was born from the question that never left me through either leap: what really happens after you make a decision like that, and how many times would you do it again? Probably as many times as I feel I'm not fully happy where I am.
